How high should my retractable awning be mounted?
In most cases, you should have at least 8 feet of clearance for your retractable awning. If the awning is to be mounted over a door that swings outward, add an extra 8-10 inches.
How much maintenance will my awning require?
Today’s retractable awnings are virtually maintenance-free. Simply wash the frame and fabric once a year with mild soap (not detergent) and water.
